How to resolve issues with defective printer purchase

Received defective printer purchased ($181.48).  Seller does not do refunds or returns.  Best Buy Geek Squad inspected item and confirmed it is too expensive to repair.  Looking for guidance on how to process eBay Money Back Guarantee for this item.

You go to your Purchase History, find the item and open an item not as described case.  After the case has been open 4 days, you return on day #5 and ask eBay to step in.  The seller will be required to either send you a prepaid return label (US) or to refund in advance for shipping  if he wants it back.

Was the item altered at Best Buy? Normally if you're going to open a case you want to do so with them item in the exact condition you received it in and don't attempt to have it repaired. If they just looked at it without doing anything invasive it shouldn't be a problem and you can get your money back after you open a case for the item not being as described.

If the seller refuses to refund after a certain amount of time; since they have a no returns policy you're usually able to get the refund without returning. If they do issue the refund and pay for return shipping send it back to them and load your tracking number into the case. From what I have seen, if they refund, your negative feedback on the transaction is usually removed so be prepared for that.
