I’m suffering a nightmare. EBay contact is impossible to speak to someone. I bought four rims from a seller and paid for them. After I paid I got an email from the seller stating that the listing was mislabeled. It was for two rims not four. He then asks me if I want the two rims or a refund. I replied back and asked for more info. He never replied back. A day later I receive two rims. I started a return and thought I was contacting eBay, I then realized it was for the seller.. I then closed it in hopes of starting another one. I tried to start another one and it won’t let me. How do I Star another return claim. Thank you for your time and help in advance.

you blew it with ebay: you voluntarily closed the case.
Go to your payment method to try there. May cost you return shipping.

If you started a return and discovered you were contacting the seller, not starting a return, I don't understand why you cannot go to the Resolution Center and open a return there because you did not actually open a return there when you thought you did.

You only get to open 1 return per item once you close it is over can not be reopened
If you paid with paypal you can open a claim with them

The return contacts the seller, not eBay, and they have 3 days to issue a return label. If they don't issue a return label or they don't respond then you go back to the return and ask eBay to step in. Sorry you closed the return. That was your chance to return the rims for a refund with the seller having to pay return shipping. Closed cases can't be reopened.
If you paid with PayPal file not received case there. On PayPal the buyer pays return shipping. Awhile back they offered free return shipping. If you didn't pay with PayPal you'll have to do a chargeback with your credit card.

What kind of return did you open?
Try this.
Go to the resolution center below and select, the item doesn't match the description.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.
