Creating label for paypal dispute return

I purchased a hard drive that has over a million bad sectors when tested. I missed the deadline for ebay's MBG protection and opened claim at PP. I provided seller with test results showing the serial # of their garbage drive. Normally if I tested it in time for MBG, seller would provide instant refund but now that I have to pay for label the seller wants it sent back. How do I create and print a label at paypal , I do not see any option for creating labels. The provided me with an address only.

PayPal has a program where they will pay you back for the shipping on a return. (or at least they did have)

You would need to sign up for that before purchasing a label.

As far a printing a label, someone else will need to give some info on that.

Activate your PayPal Return Shipping On Us at this link.

Then @campanaelia click to get your free return label. You probably should have activated before filing a dispute, or perhaps even before making the purchase. But if it works, would you post a few screenshots and let everybody know?

Thanks for the response, unfortunately after I open your link and then to activate, the next page says "We're sorry, This page does not exist."

You should contact Paypal to ask them what to do, as @rebell45 said.

I plan to call them tomorrow. Their customer service is closed now. This is my first PP claim requiring me to ship an item back and I am a little disappointed they make it so difficult for buyers to ship returns. I thought their return process would be at least equal to ebays.

I tried that link too and got the same message. I then read the T&C's and it is only valid for US accounts. I'm a retired US citizen but used my girlfriend's PP account from mexico for the purchase. I am in baja california currently and wanted to print label online to have a friend drop it off at the USPS. Hopefully when I call PP they can help me with this situation. I really want to send it back and don't even care about the refund as much as I don't want the seller to keep one cent from selling garbage like this.

If PayPal doesn't work out, file a chargeback with the card issuer. Then instead of keeping one cent, the seller will pay a $20 chargeback settlement fee on top of the full refund, forfeit eBay and PayPal fees, and you may not have to return the garbage that the seller can resell to another buyer.

You can't make the seller provide or pay for a label with PayPal.  You can print a label by going to PayPal.com/shipnow you'll just have to pay for it
