Having received a book of cloakroom tickets instead of the iPhone 16 Pro Mac I paid for, I have been trying to contact eBay. NIGHTMARE! The Contact US section does not offer any solution for scammer buyers or sellers. SO then it's pot luck and hope. Eventually I get the talk to the artificially Inseminated assistant that offered EVERYTHING BUT, and also for another FRUSTRATING 20 minutes attempted every offer to start to talk to a Live Agent that was offered and is made a great deal of. Eventually I get Offered the Call Back. EXCEPT! Every time they supposedly call me I get an email that they have tried to contact me when they haven't. I have offered 4 different telephone numbers across 2 different countries and STILL NO CALL! Just email after email that they have tried to call. I am at my wits end! ANY IDEAS? All suggestions welcome.

For better answers suggested asking you question on the UK community forums. You are posting on the USA eBay.com page. eBay UK way of doing things may be different than ours.
Cut and paste your question on the UK board.

You don't need to contact customer support. Just file a "Not as described" case against the seller and return the item for a refund within 30 days.

Per your message, you received an item that's not as described (seriously not as described).
Per eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers, you have 30 days to open an item not as described case.
Go to your My eBay> Purchase History and find that transaction. There will be a drop down menu for actions that can be taken. One will be "return this item". Your reason will be "not as described". After you open the case, your seller has 3 days to send you a prepaid return label.
If that doesn't happen, on day #4, you return to the case and ask eBay to step in.
You will be refunded from the seller's account and will be told to keep the item.
How about a quick spin through the information about the Money Back Guarantee for buyers?
You will see there that you have no need to contact anyone, just open the case.

Return item not as described...
Looking at your previous feedbacks to other sellers I would assume you kinda know what to do by now.

It's not the claiming that's the problem, it's the inability to communicate with ANYONE at eBay!

You can return what you received without contacting anyone at eBay. Just click on the following eBay UK link and follow the instructions. Super easy.
Definitely Not as described.

Why do you need to contact anyone at Ebay? Its all automated and simple, you are making this harder than it needs to be.

"It's not the claiming that's the problem, it's the inability to communicate with ANYONE at eBay!"
Well the only way to contact Ebay is through call back. So there really isn't anything else. What I am about to tell you is reality. You will be wasting your time. You are probably wanting to report this seller correct? That doesn't guarantee a removal of the seller nor will the agent do anything about it. That 20 minutes you are talking about will turn into a hour and achieve nothing. The key is getting your money back.
When you filed the case what happened? If it's still in process then wait til the times Ebay has set to step in.

Go to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.
