Can't find order

I am trying to return a product. I've paid for it, it's been delivered and I've gotten several emails. When I attempt to communicate with ebay in order to return it. i get messages that says "can't find order". 

Everything is automated, I can not get past this block. What's going on?

Did you somehow order it as a guest? If you did, it will not show up in your purchase history. If it was bought as a guest, that has different return rules.

How long ago did you buy the item? Has it been over 30 days since delivery?

You are not communicating with eBay, they did not sell you the item.

If you know the seller's eBay username, on the right side of the screen behind the search box, click on "Advance". When that window opens, click on "Sold" then go down to "Seller", click that box and enter their name, then click search.

You can contact eBay and get more details from them easily. But make sure that you did the buying process from this account not as a guest.

Try this;

Open an eBay page 

Top left corner, click on 'help & contact'

Click on 'buying'

Bottom of the page, left side, Click on 'returns and refunds'

Click on top of the page 'return an item for a refund '

Go to bottom right of the page, in very small print click on 'have us call you'

You'll get a call in 2-8 minutes 

They're there to help you. It seems; there's more to this story than anyone here could handle
