Can't Process Return

i need to return an item that was delivered and is defective . .
but the return item process is halted after submitting pictures and will not proceed further. the "confirm return" button is greyed out and will not work.
this is an extremely frustrating and time consuming problem.

Are you within the return window? You only get 30 days from the date of delivery to open a return.

You've added a picture and checked off the reason for the return?

Did you open the return and then ebay asked you for pictures? Check to see if a return has been processed already. Other than that i cannot think of why you could not return a item.

The reason for return is the first step in the return process then in the next page you upload a picture as required.

This reminds me where I had a buyer open a claim after 6 months and another one after 3 months.

They both closed in my favor...but they got opened under eBay this year  and funds were held for one day.

The return might also require a couple of sentences as to the reason for the return.

Resolved.

After spending a good deal of time getting nowhere chatting with an automated bot, I was able to get in touch with a rep on the phone who emailed me a return label .
