Buyer refund

Hi:

Recently received request to refund item. Instead of clicking accept return, I clicked refund buyer. Now eBay has closed case and I need to upload a return shipping label. Don’t know how to do that and have messaged buyer for email adddess; no response x 3. eBay told me to upload info in messages but not sure how to create a return label in USPS and upload it.

Any help?

You'll have to buy a label somewhere else, then save it as a PDF file.

If you can get the buyer email address, you can send the PDF to them

If you can't get their email, take a screen shot of the shipping label as a JPG and send it through an Ebay message.

If you clicked 'refund buyer' then you already gave them a refund without requiring the item to be returned. What you did was gave them their money back and let them keep the item for free.

If you wanted the item back you needed to select 'accept return' and then you would have the option to purchase a return shipping label.

At this point all you can do is consider it a lesson learned about the return process and hopefully it wasn't to expensive of an item.
