It seems that Ebay had an outage last night that affected many parts of the country. For those of us with auctions - is Ebay going to allow the auction to run for more time, like they did in the old days, as buyers weren't able to bid on them?
Hi @tunicaslot, we are unable to extend auctions that were active during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience caused!

we also need that number at the end in case there is a problem and as you can see it isn't. and I have never seen the tracking at the end with this new system no matter how many scans. but as long as I can call and someone sees it I can live with that. im in bad cat for returns so I see this 2-3 times a month
Hi @forgottenape, definitely want to make sure the tracking info is prominent and easy to find, even after delivery. I've been talking with the team over this page today and this is already on their radar for one of the next updates.

There are many scammers listing used 7-11 Year old Computers placed into a new shell listing as "New" and nobody has been doing anything about it.
It's been going on for about 1-2 Years.
Now introduction to new system has made us sellers unable to sell anything + with scammers.
Ebay representatives told me that the scam sellers have like 50% Return rates and many reports on account. But it never gets taken down or forced to change.
I've seen many decent volume sellers disappear in past 3 months or so because you cannot compete with the scammers. they keep selling machines that are listed in wrong category.
I've had no problem selling machines before 3 months ago. Now it's impossible. Even if I try burn money with trending system.

I asked about this in last weeks chat, no one responded. wondering if I someone can enlighten me with what has been going on with searches in the last week or so.
I have noticed on all my saved searches that the sponsored listings are coming up first. I have saved searches for auctions, ending soonest and I am seeing sponsored BIN listings that have over 20+ days left. Nothing to do with my search parameters.
I have even tried setting up new searches (with the same parameters) and same results. I do not want to see BIN's with over 20 days left, when I am looking at auctions, ending soonest. So now I have to scroll down to what I want to look for.
why am I seeing sponsored (promoted) listings that are not in line with my search results?
Hi @roadking5555, I thought I had replied. Sorry about that! I reported this to the appropriate team last week and a fix is being worked on. Thanks!

@wooden_flower wrote:Hi,
I have 2 follow up questions on the per item managed payment transaction fee -
It was stated that it will be 1 charge per items number. Is this true when it is a variations listing, and the buyer purchases more than 1 variation of the same item number?
What is the current target date for site-wide implementation of managed payments? The last info I could find was "early 2021".
thanks!
Sue
Hi @wooden_flower!
1. A variations listing only has 1 item number, so if a buyer purchased 3 variations of the same item it would still only be the 1 item number.
2. There isn't a more specified date other than '2021' for implementation of eBay managed payments.
Excellent! Thank you tyler@ebay . Now I can take my time converting my non-variation items back to variation listings 🙂

If you can please help me with my question.
Not trying to be a pain but this question is more important most because it's in regard to new system having a serious effect with scam sellers we cannot compete with.
It literally would take 5 mins to see all the scams I see easily. Give them notice to change or just take down the scam listings.
I appreciate it. I've been selling for 8 Years + and Now I have to shut my doors down as this is very serious...
Scammers used to not last few days to a few months.
Now some can be popular and last years!

Hi @xxlostspiritxx, if you see a listing with incorrect information and/or the wrong item condition, you can report this to us directly from the listing. Click on Report item on the right side of the screen above the description, then select Listing practices > Search and browse manipulation > Incorrect Item Condition. We will take a look at the seller's practices for appropriate action such as listing removals, coaching to the seller, administrative changes to the listing, restrictions, etc. I'll take a look at this and ensure any past reports you've submitted are being reviewed correctly, no problem!

Hi everyone,
The chat is now closed for further responses. We will work to respond to oustanding questions and look forward to seeing you next week.
On that note, I just wanted to update that I will be out of the office from the 15th to the 25th, returning on the 26th of June. brian@ebay & tyler@ebay will be available to address any concerns and will be taking a look at my notifications while I am away, but I wanted to touch base ![]()

disappointing response. The answers on Social Media contradict my monthly late shipping report and my eBay seller hub. That is why I tried this method to get answers.
Hi @maxoptical, it looks like you and Brittanie have discussed this at length and the issue with different information being shown on different pages has been addressed. I encourage you to continue discussing this with the members of Customer Service you have already been speaking with to avoid any further confusion. The information you are being provided is correct and if you need further clarification, those you have been talking to will be happy to elaborate.
