Not sure if this is the correct board to be on, but lately I haven't been able to delete any of the items that I didn't win, bought same item from another seller, are out of stock or I just plain and simple decided not to attempt to purchase. There link is there to "delete", but when I click on it, it does absolutely nothing. I have a whole page full of items that I can't get rid of. Is anyone else having this problem? thanks!

Which page are they showing up on? Your bids/offers page? Your watchlist? Some other page?
It might help if you'd post which OS you're using, and which browser and which eBay platform. Definitely post which page you're trying to delete from and what specific steps you're using; i.e., are you checking off a box next to the item listing and clicking a delete button? That sort of detail is really helpful.
I assume you've cleared your cache AND all the eBay cookies. Have you tried a different browser? Or a different machine altogether? Just ideas of things to try.
That being said, I don't think you're the first person to post about this. I know the "delete" function on my saved search list can be a little sticky. A deleted saved search can appear to have been deleted, but it pops back up when I refresh. I try it a couple of times, and, if it doesn't "take," I just come back and try it later. It works at some point, so just sort of "is what it is."
Seems to me that @eburtonlab had some good ideas about this issue. We'll see if he's around . . .

If you are having problems deleting watch list items from your Summary page, try using the checkbox in front of the item and the "delete" button at the top of the list rather than the "delete item" link that appears when you hover your cursor over the item.
There does seem to be a problem with those "delete item" links -- I was not able to get them to work in any browser since at least early February. Not sure when that problem started exactly; I had not noticed it until recently.
Take care not to accidentally delete all of your items, though. If you select the checkbox at the top of the list, that will select all the items on the page.
If you are using Internet Explorer and having difficulty deleting items on the actual Watch List page, either try another browser, or try deleting those items from the Summary page using the checkbox and delete button method rather than the inoperable "delete item" links.
It is also possible to delete items from the item page itself, though due to another problem it is necessary to add the item to the Watch List again to see the "Remove" link at the top of the page in the blue band.
If you are still having problems deleting items, I have more tricks, so do not hesitate to ask if that is the case.

it's on my watchlist, using Google Chrome. and it's just items that either have ended and no longer available, items I've bought elsewhere and don't need to watch anymore. I get a message that the auction has ended, item is out of stock etc.. I click on delete and it doesn't respond at all, even when I shut down and restart the next day, all those things are still there. There have been some updates to Windows and I haven't even been able to FIND where I can clear cookies etc etc, it used to be very easy to get to.. I hate when they automatically do these updates and all the familiarity with the sites are gone.. Thanks for your response, I'll try another browser and continue to try and find where to clear cache and cookies etc.. Have a great day

For particularly difficult to delete items, try using this "All Lists" link:
Find the individual items and try deleting them on that page one at a time. That seems to work in cases where other methods have failed.

You are very welcome -- glad to hear it worked!
