search result only returns few items

Does anyone know what  might be an issue? 

For example, I'm searching car subwoofer and I see it shows 766 results for 10 inch subwoofer, but all I see is 5 items, not next page nothing... after 5 results I see bunch of ads

I've tried incognito window and I see all 766 results, once I login - only 5...

What browser are you using?

Make sure you are using the latest version of your browser for your operating system, or try another browser instead. If another browser works better, try deleting the cache in your original browser (unless your original browser is Internet Explorer 11 -- in that case you should use a different browser).

I just got a major windows update yesterday. I did clear my browsing cache but it did not solve the problem. Thanks for the input.

clear your browser history seems like the popular fix that people say do. everytime there is a issue with Ebay that's what they say do **bleep**. that's what they said when I couldn't check out last month for 2 weeks.

its a Ebay problem not a browser issue.

Ebay Issue Loading: I'm having this issue along with the multiple others posting today. Obviously, there are too many of us online, searching while we can't do most normal activities in our lives...probably the new normal for a while during our quarantine.

how do you clear the browser cache?

Exact details depend on your particular browser.

In the desktop version of Firefox, use the three bar menu in the top right corner to get to "Options" -- go to "Privacy & Security" "Cookies and Site Data" "Clear". Start with "Cached Web Data". If that does not help, try "Cookies and Site Data".

In Chrome, try "Settings" "Privacy & Security" "Clear browsing data".

In Edge, try "Settings" "Privacy and Services" "Clear browsing data".

When clearing your browser cache, some browsers default to clearing cache or cookies left in the "last hour" -- try a longer time range than that, try "last week" or "all time" if the default does not help.

It seems to be  like that  on every search  in every category  only  the  first 5 items  show.

Have you tried to search for items for sale on Ebay. You. only. get the first 5 listings  no matter how you search  and it seems it is  in every category  I noticed this at 9;15 pm  March 17 2020.   we all  should  get  refunded  for  any and all time  our items  were not  searchable . How  can they sell  if they can not be seen !!

I refuse to  change. my  search engine  to  see my  listings. and  How  does this  help my sales.   My  customers would have to  use a different search engine  That  is not  the correct answer.  Ebay needs  to fix the  problem.  We can  not  let  this stand. It must be fixed asap !!

My customers  may be using  a saved search   how would. they find the  listings  when they are most likely having the same troubles  We do not need a work around. We need a fix !!!

Using Chrome, cleared cache from "All time" and is now showing the full listings. Didn't work when I cleared cache from a shorter span, like one day or a week.

I am seeing this same issue, in any browser, whether incognito or not. For any search results, the number of  items listed is less than stated at the top of the page  -- in fact, there is only a single page of listings, with no page navigation at the bottom.

However, if I hit refresh, then QUICKLY scroll to the bottom of the page, I can see the page links momentarily. They disappear before I can click any other page link.
