About 2-3 months ago, Ebay began asking me for account verification EVERY time I sign in. I have to deal with the screen in which you have to choose photos of matching objects. I wouldn't mind it occasionally, but does it have to be EVERY time I sign in? It is time wasting and annoying. I have never had the slightest issue with my account. Any way this can be resolved?

I used to have that issue until I changed browsers. I used Microsoft Edge now I use Firefox no more captcha. Plus I don’t have to sign in every time I close my browser.

One thing that can cause that is if your browser has been set to erase cookies when closed, or if you are using certain "cleaner" programs that erase your cookies. That would tend to affect all sites you are signed in to, though, not just eBay. Using a private or incognito browser window, or setting your browser to block cookies would prevent your browser from retaining cookies between sessions.
When you erase your eBay cookie, you are telling eBay to treat you like you have never signed in using that browser before, and the next time you sign in you will have to undergo verification.
If you are not erasing cookies or the problem only affects eBay, perhaps you have a corrupt eBay cookie; in that case, manually deleting just your eBay cookies once may help.
There are other things that can cause verification issues as well: using a VPN or hotspot, or using certain kinds of privacy software such as Disconnect or Ghostery, or using a new browser, a new device or a new network.
