pointing out a software error/glitch

Buyer opened INR case which was closed almost immediately because tracking indicates delivery. I assume the process was automatic and no person actually "stepped in".

 

There was an error though. In the "Case Resolved" notification, I received the following message:

 

"We received tracking information from you that shows the item was in transit or delivered to the buyer's address. However, the date scan is after your stated shipping and handling time. In the future, please ship your items as soon as possible. You don't need to do anything else."

 

This is incorrect.  Order was placed Sunday night. I shipped Monday at noon. This is within my same-day handling time. In 12 months I have only had 1 late shipment, and that too was an ebay error but I just let it go because there was nowhere to resolve it.

I don't mean to be nit-picky, but given that there are penalties for not shipping within the stated shipping time, it seemed like this is something worth fixing. Also, saying "you won the case but you still did something wrong" I was like, no, I actually didn't.

 

Anyway, hope this is an easy fix somewhere. Seems like something worth fixing.
