Today I noticed many of my items inventory is wrong. Is this a site wide problem? I am going through and checking all my listings, but this is going to take me a lot of time. What if more things sell than I have?

brian@ebay Hey Brian - still not corrected for me - I have several dozens of listings that are still completely out of sync where items show available quantity still match original quantity. Is there someone I can speak with about escalating this? It's been a week since the issue was identified and I've ben canceling several sales daily because of bad inventory counts. Thank you.

I noticed at least one last night which I have not revised or edited and it's showing qty of 7 for each variation which I know is incorrect. Now I'll have to dig them out of inventory and count them physically and/or check my inventory spreadsheets when I get home.

What worries me is, this is a listing which stood out to me as I know I don't have those qty available, but how many more are out there lurking which aren't as obvious at a glance?

Hi @shopsquared, the update to revert quantities back to what they were prior to this issue is rolling out in phases to sellers and should be complete within the next several days. Thank you for your patience while we work through this 🙂

Yes, it is now 05/14/2020 and my inventory is still behaving badly. Where does Ebay stand now as far as a fix goes?

@Anonymous this was fixed around the time of my last post in this thread. If a sale or revision has occurred after an item was impacted by this issue then we will not be able to revert the quantity back to it's original amount. If some of your items still do not have the correct quantity then you will need to manually revise them to the correct quantities.

I was also affected with the inflated inventory. I've gone through my inventory and my out of stock items are still being able to be sold. I don't know what to tell the buyers as this reason is getting old.
