ebay will not allow me to add listings to my watch list

When I try to add a listing, to my watch list, I get a message telling me to remove items from my watch list so that I can add more items.  I only have 6 items in my watch list.  How can this be fixed?  There is a long list of previously purchased items.  Could this be the problem?  If so, how do I delete that list?  Thanks

I have also encountered that this morning when trying to click on the heart from a list of items for sale.  (I have 8 items in my watch list.)  But when I go into the actual item's listing page, I can successfully click on the heart and add it to my watch list.

Not a solution, but a workaround until it gets fixed.

Since more than one person here has reported this same problem, am just wondering if it's a part of the technical issues that started on Sunday.  For some people, they have stopped, but there are others who still report the same problems.  These appear to include a very wide variety of  actions that people cannot take, and also appear to affect both buyers and sellers.
