I also agree. It is maddeningly slow and it is the only site I have this problem with (although, Yahoo is starting to come close).

This response is in November of 2017 and Ebay is painfully slow. I have the fastest Verizon FiOS available on the market and a super fast new MAC. The speed issues are coming from Ebay, not my end. Why? Amazon is not slow. Etsy is not slow. Why is Ebay so slow?

Trying to shop here has gotten so agonizingly slow that it's painful to do it, so I've cut back. It's not my computer, it works fine on other sites. Also, in the past few weeks, strange things have happened to my Saved Searches.....and the search process has also degraded, with less info showing up in the thumbnails from a search. Wondering why things always seem to get worse, not get better.....shouldn't improvement for shopping be the way for a shopping site?
Maybe it's just me, and I'm willing to accept that if that is the case. Anyone else having similar issues?

Way to many adds to load, it's seems they want more money from adds then users. You need to go into a different buisness.

Nothing will fix this. It is ebay website, they are doing some upgrade and don't want to reveal it. This will slow their computers until it is done.

When I open a page or change pages in Ebay using Firefox it shows the following " a web browser is slowing down your search" do you want to stop it or wait? If I am using Chrome it asks if I want to debug the script, stop the script or continue. I have reported it to Ebay for nearly 12 months and I am always assured that it it will be sent to tech people for review. I have managed to down load the page and print it - it is nearly 3 pages of code but the word "Ebay" appears a lot. It is not just associated with my desktop computer because if I access Ebay from a different computer it also appears.

this is actually not even remotely close in describing how eBays website or the internet works...

I don't know what it causing that. But I found this action works to bypass slow process.
(1) Right click on the web browser you are using.
(2) Click on close windows.
(3) Click on Cancel on the pop up windows.
(4) Whatever page you are using will be ready to be used.
Hope this helps.

This problem is from the eBay website but seems they are not responsible for this big problem. I don't have any problem with my computer and other websites except eBay so somebody from eBay must answer for this really big issue!
