All Mail from Ebay goes directly to the Sent Folder in my Comcast Mail. It should be going to IN Box. All other incoming mail from others goes directly to my IN Box. No filters are set. Can anyone help with this?

You might post on the technical board. No idea how to correct. Good luck with this glitch!

Mail you're receiving from eBay is going into your SENT folder? Sounds like a Comcast problem to me, since sent emails are an internal function, and that folder shouldn't be receiving any emails from outside your system. Have you added eBay's email address to your "Contacts" or however Comcast labels your "approved" recipients' email addresses?

I'd ask Comcast. Sounds like a problem with the email server..........incoming mail going to the wrong folder.........don't know why there would be any difference with an ebay email.

Thanks for your reply. I spent 3 different days on the telephone with comcast. They spend about 30 minutes each time looking and then finally tell me someone will call within 24 hours and give me a I believe was a seven number ID. But they never call back. so I call again and they go thru the same process and then finally just leave me hanging.
Thanks again for your help.

This is a Comcast issue. Here's a crazy thought- what about setting up a filter that directs messages from eBay to your inbox in an attempt to override the path they're taking to your Sent folder?
Edit- Here are the instructions. Scroll down to where it says "set up email filters"-

If your mail is being filtered to a program like Outlook and that's where you see it in your Sent folder, then this could be an Outlook issue, not necessarily a Comcast issue.

That's worth trying, but emails that are put in the Sent folder probably aren't processed through those filters.
This is weird.

I think this could be an email error. However, go to eBay Help and they will give you a solution.

Thank you for responding. I just did a online chat with Ebay and they were unable to find any blocking but he is sending it on to a investigator and said they will get back to me within 24 hours. No one has been able to figure it out for 10 days now.
Thanks again I really appreciate it.

I have Comcast but I do forward the Comcast email address to my Gmail inbox. I noticed that (only) the ebay emails are not getting forwarded. Everything else is working fine.
