I can't even call ebay.  When I go to help & support, my only option is to send an email. I'm a concierge member.  There is no option to call or receive a callback. Calling from US

Ebay customer support is currently unavailable for nearly 2 days here in the UK. We have no way to contact Ebay CS at all. No phone number, no Chat or email, nothing.

While they may reply quickly, that is a complete waste of time if they can't read and comprehend English.

Most of the time the foreign agents are fairly good at understanding and comprehending the spoken word. And if they don't understand, you can clarify in a few seconds. But I have never had a rep who actually knew the first thing about good communication. They always make assumptions, and have to be corrected.

This makes writing to an eBay rep impossible. You write a question, and either the rep, AI or a key-word points to a pat answer to a problem or concern that you did not ask.

Unless you can teach your reps good communication skills (repeating what was said, etc), and how to comprehend what is written and compose an intelligent sentence on their own, eBay is going to have a disaster on their hands.

At some point very bad customer service is far worse than no customer service at all. Because then you know what to expect.

Yeah it's closed, and has a very strange automated message on top of it.
Welcome to the new world order.   Automated drones telling you to shelter in place and disperse in the street.   Automated call centers with no people that can't help you, yet they are still taking your money and expecting you to do it all on your own.   I actually really need the call center right now for an issue can I can't talk to anyone.

Even more,
a reason to go to your local business  --- asking if they will 'price match' the Ebay listed price.
Tell them you are giving them the "opportunity"; as some businesses are so narcissistic  --- they take Ebay price-matching as an 'insult.'  (those last 5 words had been quoted against me before)

Howdy! I was able to get through to your customer support three days ago, and the seller will not refund me. I tried to create a case in resolution center, BUT I checked out as guest so you guys are the only ones who can give me access to create any case in the resolution center- because (again) i have no login and resolution center requires a login to request assistance there!!! Help your customers? Should I just contact the bank? Better business bureau? Who can help me get the refund?

Since you checked as a guest you must first log out of your eBay account and then file the refund request starting from your guest purchase email that you received at time of purchase.  If you no longer have the email you can request to have it sent again from one of the guest returns help pages.

Same and I'm dealing with a **bleep** buyer at the moment who didn't bother to send back the item for return. They received it on the 4th and and the return date is up on the 21st. He closed the return case and opened a new one... Like how the **bleep** also i got charged 30.80$ by eBay for transferring money I had in PayPal to my bank. What the **bleep** is going on!!!!!
