eBay Software Technical Issue

Hello,

Yesterday I decided to perform a test. I have been concerned about placement of my products (Radios & Tubes) when listed. I ended eight radios. I then made new photos, edited the listings and scheduled them to be listed at midnight on August 1, 2023. The following is the results when I looked for the listings at 3AM on the same day.

Using the eBay search engine, I entered "Vintage Tube Radios" When the results returned, I then checked the "Newly Listed" category and waited for the return. Here's the results:

One page 1 only two of eight radios showed.  I then scrolled through eight pages and could not find the other six radios.

I then used the search engine again and typed in a make and model number of a radio. The results showed duplicate listings of the same radio.  The date shows them both listed on Jul 26 at 1100. The results should have returned one radio showing it was listed August 1 at midnight.  I then returned to my store front and checked "active listings" and entered the make and model number. Only one listing was returned showing it was listed on August 1 at midnight.

Returning to the search engine, I typed in "Vintage Tube Radios" again and waited for the results. I then clicked on the "Newly Listed" category and waited. When the results were returned, I started scrolling through the pages looking for my listings. On page five I found the following:

1 radio shows listed on July 23rd at 13:38.

1 radio shows listed on July 23rd at 12:16.

1 radio shows listed on July 21st at 9:40.

I then clicked on each listing and the listing shows the radios were listed on August 1 at midnight.

I then continued scrolling through 5 additional pages and was unable to find the rest of the listings.

I then clicked on the "Best Matched" category and when the results were returned, I found the following:

Page 1 showed six listings as newly listed. Including the listings, I couldn't find.

Page 2 showed one listing as newly listed.

Page 4 showed one listing as newly listed.

Page 9 showed one listing as newly listed.

All of these 9 listings should have shown up on the "Newly Listed" category on page one. They were not.

The "Best Matched" category, the radios should have been listed by date and time. They were not.

The eBay software is not placing the items correctly. It is using an incorrect date and time which affects the placement of the listing. The software is extremely slow in placing the listings on eBay. Most buyers are not going to scroll through page after page looking. Seller's listing should be first in, first out on pages by date and time and they are not. I don't know what the answer is. I just know it's frustrating to sellers here on eBay.

At one time the software worked and now it doesn't. Fix the software, don't try to re-invent it. I've been a seller on eBay since 2013 and this is the worst year I've experienced. Listen to the sellers, they know what works for them.

eBay Software Technical Issue

I've notice today that the search engine is not working correctly. It removes addition search features and gives a low to a no results "0 found".
