delete messages

there are several messages that I can not delete no matter how many times I try. it says "oops something went wrong. please try again later. How do I delete these messages?

Instead of deleting these messages from your inbox, try moving each one separately to the trash. If that does not work, try creating a new folder and moving the messages to the folder. Then either delete the folder or rename the folder Trash2 and use it to store unwanted messages.

In general I don't delete messages (except for credit card offers). I just send them to archive. Much safer.
