Why did I get charged seller fees when I have 44 free listings left?

I've heard this happened before. I've already used 6 of the standard free monthly and all 200 of the LIST FREE offer.  My Overview says I should have 44 free left of my monthly 50.

The same thing is happening to me, I went to list some item's and it was trying to charge me a listing fee. I have free ones not used, glitch?

The same thing is happening to me. I've been monitoring the community posts, and this is the 3rd post I've seen today with seller's claiming the same thing. I looked back in time at older posts that date back all the way to 2018, and it seems that this is a common occurrence on the last day of the month. (At least the posts always seem to be on the last day of any given month.) It seems to be some sort of programming glitch. 

In the older posts, people had eventually contacted eBay customer service, and they were told they could make posts and be credited the fees, but me personally, I am a bit skeptical at the moment until I hear something similar for today's occurrence.

Could it be happening in months with 31 days?  Happening to me as well.

Samee to me. Have most of my free 50 available and it want $.35 for each listing.

Does eBay read these comment?

I read an old February post from 2018 that had the same thing happening to people on the last day of the month which at the time was the 28th, so it isn't just the 31st. But it is annoying that it's been happening all this time and still no fix...

Does eBay refund the listing fees when one has free listings available?

I have 850 free per month. Only got to 348. Getting hit also.

I agree with your skepticism - I'd rather not list anymore today - then to list and get charged and "hopefully" get my money back - It better be fixed tomorrow !

I am on hold with support, 26 mins before someone actually talks to you. Exact same thing here - I have used up all 200 for relisting, BUT still haven't even touched my 50 free listings, and bam! I was charged 35 cents for those listings (only a handful) that are supposed to come out of the free 50.

In addition, mine happened on the 30th not today!

Me, too. I have more than one account and it has happened on both. Almost $30 in fees!
