When Creating Shipping Labels, I'm being forced into UPS Labels, WHY?

Starting today when I go in to creating a shipping label, it is asking me to set up a UPS account or log into my account that I have already set up.  While I do have an account with UPS, that isn't my problem.  The problem is that I do not ship my stuff sold here via UPS, I always use USPS.  But I can't get to anywhere that allows me to print a label through USPS.

Any suggestions!!  How do I get to the screen to print a USPS label?

Your recent Sold quilting pattern book offered UPS Ground as the shipping option.  You can print a postage label at

www.paypal.com/shipnow

But you should check with your buyer before you do that. Some buyers have very strong preferences regarding carriers. Some must use a PO Box for USPS deliveries.

THANK YOU!  I did not catch that.

That isn't something I did to my listing, Ebay has / did change something on my listing.  I sold from this listing earlier in the month and did not have this issue at all.  I have no idea why it got changed, but I'm guessing I best go and check ALL my listings for this same issue so that I can fix it.

I just finished going through all my listings and fortunately I do not see this issue re-appearing.  HURRAY !!

Interesting point.  I create most my listings in TurboLister and I happen to have this listing in question still in there.  My set up did not show it to be Standard UPS shipping, so I'm very puzzled as to how that happened, but I'm just very glad it is a single case.  I hope it stays that way.

I had this same issue with a recently sold item. Fedex was offering a much lower rate for same sized item and I wanted to generate shipping label for Fedex. I'm shipping a large item and UPS Ground ebay quote was $160. Fedex Ground ebay rate was $60! I had not limited shipping options to UPS in my listing and my Buyer had not limited their options to UPS either.  I finally called ebay Support who quickly said "we need to revert you back to the classic shipping label page option". That did the trick. I do not recall ever opting into a new, UPS only, Print Shipping Label function. This must be something ebay is forcing on people unbeknownst to them.

If you look at the shipping section of your guitar listing, you'lll see that UPS Ground is the only shipping option entered.  That's why you were sent to UPS for shipping.
