Does this mean the tape that I found has been sold? When I click on the link, the message above shows up.

If you had the item bookmarked for a while it could mean it sold and aged off eBay’s servers.
eBay keeps sold items for up to 90 days.
Or eBay pulled the listing.

From where are you clicking a link @Anonymous ?

I did put it on my watchlist. It became available today. I hope somebody bought it.

If they did you'd typically see a copy of the sold listing, not an error message. Go to your watch list @Anonymous and copy the item number. Paste it to the end of this URL:
ebay.com/ITM/
If you still get the error message, then as suggested by ebooksdiva, eBay may have removed the listing.

If eBay removed the listing you get that message. If it aged off after 90 days you get that message.

I asked the seller about the tape after it became missing. No answer yet.

@Anonymous
Most likely ebay removed it. Perhaps its content violated policy.

Is there some reason for not posting the item number as @wastingtime101 suggested?
We can get a better idea of what’s going on with it.

if you click on this link it comes up as missing.

It looks like it’s been removed.
What sort of tape was it?
