havent been able to delete watch items for ages now.

If you are watching more than 200 items, try deleting them one at a time. I have run into issues when trying to delete many at once when watching more than 200. The watch list seems to be much more stable and consistent when the number of items is below 200 for some reason.

If you have problems deleting directly from the watch list, try deleting items from the watch list section of the Summary page, or directly from the item page itself using the "Remove" text link at the top left of the page.

Several different problems have been reported recently concerning the watch list page. It's possible that eBay is in the process of making changes, and it may settle down after a bit.

I just tried deleting an item from my Watch list. I got a message that one item was deleted, but the item remained on the page. Refreshing the page revealed that the item was actually deleted, though.

If that is what you are encountering, try refreshing the page after you delete an item.
