Sorry, not true. I've been using the seller hub for months and my views go UP, then back down, then UP, then down...if they ever move at all. At times it has show more watchers than views, which is of course impossible. I've viewed my items from other browsers (not logged into my account) and also the one I use for sales. Sometimes the view will tick up 1 like it should, sometimes not.
The "listing page views" as well as "transactions" are ALSO incorrect in my Traffic Report (Performance) so can't even dig thru that mess to figure out if my items are getting any views. About all I trust is sales the last 30 days are down more than 52% from the previous 30.
Tested last night searching an item which had 11 watchers when it ended. After relist, no views, no nothing. Why? Not being shown at all in a search for handmade bits. I ended up coughing up 25 cents to post it in 2 categories just to get it to show up somewhere. Thank goodness Google search is aware of it, but of course no link to my ebay listing.
Place is a mess and impossible to make enough to live on. 2 years ago my items sold at a faster clip than listed. 1 year ago I opened a store and sales immediately got worse month over month with only November an uptick. Ebay taketh away all the reasons I paid for a store, so they are about to stop taking that extra money away. No point when you can't use it to market your brand. For only $400 NET sales in 30 days? Used to be more like $1500-1800 net.
Ebay hates small sellers. Their actions speak.
