Unread messages in eBay mobile app

The mobile app states I have 74 unread messages, but zero unread messages when I login on my PC. I'm using the classic message view on mobile. The unread messages only appear unread in the updated message view on mobile, not the classic view. This bug was introduced in the evening hours on 6/21/2023 after 9pm EST and first noticed at 9am EST on 6/22/2023.

Same my mobile app says I have 58 messages but it’s totally empty I have no idea how to get rid of the red counter so annoying

Same here. My eBay iPhone app says I have 39 unread messages!!!
