Drafts won't open in app, message pips up to go to web browser to open EBAY website to complete listing in order to apply business policies. Please fix, it us so much faster and easier to work from the app on my cell & tablet.

I've seen a few people talking about this, but when I checked on the app just now I had no problem applying my business policies on the app.
What OS version are you using?
What version of the eBay app are you using?
Temporarily you can use a browser on your device to complete your draft and assign business policies, or you can opt out of policies entirely if you don't want to use them.
Manage and edit policies, or click the opt out link on the upper right on this page.
----------------
To file a tech report on the app:
1. Shake to report. Physically shake your device while the app is open and that will trigger the option for you to file a tech report or submit feedback on product features.
2. Anywhere you see the three dots or the ? you can tap on that to file a report. Screenshot below.

I just noticed the same thing and it is annoying but I did manage to finish my listing by going to eBay in a web browser on my phone. Normally, I start the listing on my laptop and then use the eBay app to take pics and then I list the item or do more editing on the laptop.

I believe the problem is specific to Android as I'm not replicating on iOS.
I am seeing about half a dozen threads here and more on Reddit in just the past hour and a half or so. With this many people affected, if everybody uses "shake to report" on the app, eBay should jump on it pretty quick in the morning.
Until tomorrow, you may have to make your edits with the web browser if anything is urgent and can't wait.

I am having the same issue on my Samsung phone. Up until yesterday, I had no issue. If I opt out of my business policies on my desktop, this means all of my business policies for my 467 listings will be permanently deleted. I do not understand how this fixes the problem on my app, as I would have to re-create all of my business policies in the website in order to continue listing and drafting items on my app? Someone explain how Opting Out is a fix for this issue. I don't want to re-create my business policies. That would take a substantial amount of time. Time that keeps me from listing and selling on my app. eBay will be losing a lot of money if this isn't fixed internally.

It is not a fix; it is a temporary workaround until eBay fixes the issue if you do not need to use business policies.
Do not opt out if you need to use business policies. Use a browser to list until the app issue is fixed.

Its also happening to me on my iphone. I listed one item this morning with no problems and then tried to list another 10 minutes later and started having this issue.

I have the same problem listing on the other e site. It is an Android issue, not ebay.

We've got it working on one iPhone and not another in the same house. Same account.

Which version number of the app works? Which version does not?

As far as I can tell, this was only affecting sellers that had excess business policies; policies not assigned to any listings.
The issue was fixed a couple hours ago so anybody that was waiting to list or make edits should be good to go.
