Unable to Message Seller

Every time I try to message a particular seller from whom I have made a purchase, I am given error messages. 

On the computer it is "Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later."

On the iOS app it is "Message Error: Failed to add member message. (Trading.20965)

Please advise!

Try contacting that seller using a browser instead of the eBay app.

It may work, or at least provide a more explanatory error message.

Thank you for your reply. In fact, the browser (Chrome) provided an even less helpful explanation.

On the computer (browser) the message is "Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later."

Is the seller still registered?
