Unable to List Book – “ISBN Missing or Invalid” Error with No ISBN Field Available

Hi everyone,

I’m running into a technical issue when trying to list a book on eBay. Each time I try to publish the listing, I get this error message:

“Looks like something is missing or invalid. Please fix any issues and try again. ISBN”

The problem is that there’s no ISBN item specifics box available in the form, so there’s nowhere to enter or correct it.

I’ve tried manually adding a custom item specifics field for ISBN, but that doesn’t fix the problem either — the same error still appears.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Or does eBay have a fix or workaround for this issue?

Book title?

For books published before the use of ISBN, we type in N/A in the ISBN field. This has always worked for us. Hope this helps.

The problem was described as a missing ISBN field in item specifics. I'm pretty sure the OP has the ISBN but doesn't see a place to enter it.
