Unable to Change Settings

Error shows when trying to change settings.

It's like playing wackamole with ebay. You get past one issue and another pops up. If I didn't need stuff from your site I wouldn't use you. You are horrible. First you give me ducks and starfish to choose everyday and now this.

You're going to need to give more information on what you're trying to do and which settings you are trying to change.

I wasted enough time on this and on going through all of ebay controls to access the site so I can give them money. It's ebay causing the issue. They can figure it out themselves.

eBay is not here; this is a user forum. The folks that read and respond here are other users, not eBay employees, except for a few folks with "eBay" in their usernames.

eBay may have no idea that you are having a problem or what problem you are having if you have not actually contacted eBay and provided details of what you are doing and what you have tried. Posting here does not count as informing eBay.

If you are willing to provide some details, someone might be able to offer some suggestions of things you can try that might help you.

The last time I posted here about technical issues ebay saw it and replied. I assumed the same thing happened again.

There is nothing for anyone here to do unless they are ebay. It's an ebay issue. It's been resolved now. As I clicked through the options more appeared. Eventually I was able to get all the way through. 

Why do you help ebay? Do they pay you? They are getting a monetary benefit from you doing work for them.

Why do you help ebay?

I try to help people that have questions about eBay. That may help eBay indirectly, but helping eBay is not my primary motivation when I reply here.

Many users on the community pages have helped me to use eBay more effectively, to search and find things I would not have found myself, or to avoid various pitfalls and issues.

I like collecting and sharing tips, tricks and workarounds. Participating on the community boards is a good way to do that, I have found. I enjoy solving puzzles and playing games, and many issues that come up on the boards allow me to use my knowledge of eBay and my problem-solving skills in a particularly satisfying way.

There is nothing for anyone here to do unless they are ebay.

That may be case for certain issues, but not all issues. And perhaps fewer issues than you might expect. Which issues are which kind is not always immediately apparent without actually trying a few different things first.

If it is the thread I am thinking of, a member of eBay's community team was tagged by another frequent poster regarding a very specific Captcha issue that impacted many users' ability to sign in to eBay.
