USA instead uf UK

For over two weeks I have been getting directed to USA results when searching a category such as "sporting goods". Despite managing to get a live "chat" on two occasions (more by luck than fortune - I can not manage it today!) and I have been reliably assured that Ebay are aware of the problem and are looking to resolve it shortly. The situation has not improved and as become worse today as even Individual items searched are now showing priced in US $ rather than UK £.

Users in the UK and elsewhere are being redirected to the US site when selecting categories to search on the main ebay.co.uk page or search results page without using any keywords. Avoid searching that way; you can add keywords and search, or else choose the categories using the "Shop by category" links on the left side of the search entry field.

If possible, try erasing your ebay.com browser cookies -- that way if you are redirected again, you will be forced to sign in, making more likely you will notice.
