Trying to call eBay is a problem!

Whenever I try to call eBay I get the answer: We`re currently upgrading our system.

When will I be able to contact eBay? Do you have another number? I tried +1 866 305 3229 ...

Supposedly you can go to their Facebook page for support.

That is the US phone number -- many users located overseas indicate that they get an "upgrading" message when trying to use that number. Some users with virtual phone numbers also have trouble connecting.

If you are in Germany, you might try using the German Help & Contact page:

eBay in Germany can't help because I bought stuff in the US.

I tried facebook ... let's see, when I get some meaningful contact ...

eBay's social media team is absolutely not equipped to solve any problems 😞 

Too bad I can't call eBay in the US. They might have been able to help.

I still want to have the miner's safety lamps I bought!
