i noticed if i try and send a message and i don't have a message in my inbox i can't , try getting a message out of the trash / archive and see if that resolves it (not ebay support) just had a similar experience

Hey @bigw1231! We apologize and about the issue yourself and others may be running into when trying to purchase or print labels. There is a sitewide ticket open for this issue to be resolved that is under ALERT15646.

devon@ebay I know you're probably zipping through trying to respond to all the posts about the shipping issue, but I don't think that alert applies to the issue in the OP here.....unless the same problem causing sellers not to be able to purchase shipping labels is also causing messages between users to fail when trying to send through the new messaging system.
