Why can't eBay log-in be set go directly to my summary page????? Also, get rid of that huge half page ad above my Watch list in the Summary page. Two simple fixes that should have been done 21 years ago when I joined eBay!

These 2 issues have ticked me off way to long!

Bookmark your eBay Summary page and use that link to reach eBay; if you need to sign in, you will be prompted and sent to your Summary page after you enter your credentials.

https://www.ebay.com/myb/Summary

If you specifically want a sign-in page that will go directly to your Summary page, try this link:

https://signin.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SignIn&UsingSSL=1.2&siteid=0&co_partnerId=2&pageType=206035...

Also, get rid of that huge half page ad above my Watch list in the Summary page.

If you are using a desktop browser, install an ad blocker to remove those ads. You can selectively disable the ad blocker on certain pages or sites if you choose, or use the ad blocker's element hiding tool to hide things aside from ads. Ad Block, Ad Block Plus and uBlock Origin are some common ad blocking extensions that work with most desktop browsers.
