Greetings,
I've been getting e-mails from eBay asking "Still want it?" and showing items that I've shown interest earlier, yet are not on sale anymore. When I click the link, the item in question is gone and not available for purchase (sometimes bought by someone else).
What prompted me to get some answers was the latest one. I received a "Still want it?" message for an item I myself had just bought. A one of a kind artwork that definitely is not for sale anymore.
How can I get rid of these kinds of messages and/or can eBay check the code on sending such messages advertising items that are not for sale anymore?
Thanks,

You may want to check you Advertisement Preferences under Account Preferences.

Yes, I did want to check those preferences, but did not find any settings that would remove ads where eBay is advertising already sold, nonexistent items. Imagine that.

I unchecked all the boxes in Advertisement Preferences and clear my Recently Viewed items on both PC and phone app every few days. Seems to have cut the spam down drastically.

My puzzlement is why send these in the first place? Here is the latest one, and I urge anyone to buy the item (if they "still want it" ;)).

Yet another one of these. This one I actually bought myself and yet I get an offer to buy it again. When I click the "Buy Now" link, I get to the item page which states: "You bought this item".
Perhaps the parameters should be checked with this one.
