Did you mean:

Something went wrong. Check everything is right below. No error given

Hello,

I haven't used my Ebay account in years, however I have decided to start selling on here again. I am brought to a page requesting basic information (Name, address, phone number). I provide this information. When I try to submit it, I get an error stating

"Something went wrong. Check everything is right below."

When I check below there is no error message or indication about what its problem is.

Where do I go from here?

i have been dealing with this issue for MONTHS. earlier this month i finally got in contact with a rep who seemed to know how to troubleshoot, and was willing to go the extra mile to help because he was curious as to why this was happening. He confirmed all my info was entered and correct (i can purchase with this account) and when he looked it up it said:
This is a known bug and issue.
Steps to fix: Do not tell customer this is a known bug or issue. Ebay is aware and is working on a solution.
More than two weeks later, there is still no update. Im sitting on literally thousands of dollars in items to sell. Its hurting me much more than ebay, so ive been slowly able to use other means to sell my items. (with little or no fees by the way!)

I am having the exact same problem.

For some crazy reason, every time I go to list an item, eBay shows a 15 year old address instead of my current address that is literally entered everywhere else on the site. (I have no idea how or why eBay is remembering this out of date address, and I can't find where that data is being stored to delete it.)

I go to list the item, eBay asks me to verify my information. I change the outdated address with my current one, which is again the one I listed everywhere on eBay. I press continue and get the "Something went wrong. Check everything is right below." I check--everything is 100% correct and should match my account data. There Are No Error Messages Marked In Red Or Any Indication Of What Might Be Wrong. If I deliberately type in the wrong info, eBay will mark it in red. But that doesn't happen with this case.

I've called twice. The reps have basically said "this is a known bug, it'll be corrected in 24-72 hours." It's been over 72 hours and no correction. I just want to sell these items so I can get some pocket cash for some new games. Really, this is ridiculous! Do I need to make a whole new account just to sell? Do I need to go to Amazon or Craigslist or Bonanza?
