As a shopper, I would appreciate the ability to filter out reproductions and international sellers. Searching with keywords such as genuine/original/authentic still result in pages of vintage style. It is frustrating and likely killing sales for those selling the real deal.
I would also like to filter sellers by location. I am in the US and not interested in purchasing from the UK where shipping costs as much as the item.
Also, all those redundant ads have got to go! Why do I have to scroll through 10 pages of the same item from China before finding different items from US sellers? This could be resolved by policy: The more ads you post for the same item, the deeper down the scroll hole it goes.

Does the Item Location filter not show up for that category? That should be able to help you filter out the non-American listings.

You can select US Only in the search filters, but that doesn't filter out a bunch of Chinese junk. Seems that if a Chinese seller says he has a "warehouse" in the US his items will show up in a US Only search. His warehouse is probably just a mailbox in the at Mailboxes, and he's still shipping from China.
This is hurting US sellers too. As a buyer, I get discouraged after opening a bunch of items saying that they are US sellers, just to find 20-30 day shipping and a seller registered in China/Hong Kong. After a couple of pages of this, I go elsewhere.
Don't expect eBay to change this anytime soon either. They are totally committed to $ati$fying their Chine$e friend$.
