I use 8.5" x 11" shipping labels, 2 per page that I can peel and stick when printed....all of a sudden today, instead of the labels printing sideways as they have always done, they now print vertically which means the adhesive labels I used are now useless....I did not change any settings on the computer or printer....just all of a sudden they started having wrong orientation...Can someone please help me fix this issue??? I am a senior and not computer literate...any instructions you can provide would be much appreciated....Thanks for any help

When you go to print your label, does this screen pop up for you?
If so, is the orientation set at portrait like mine? There is a glitch it seems...you are not the only one having an issue.
Please let me know...

My pop up does not have the orientation option.

Okay...do you have the ability to go to "print using the system dialog" ...like the one that I have the big red dot next to?

Yes, I see that and when I tried to print using the system dialog box, the label printed in the same vertical fashion.

I called ebay to report the issue. Let's hope it gets resolved soon.

Since this is only affecting some users (I am okay), I am wondering if it could be an incompatibility issue with some browsers...eBay has been doing "updates" and sometimes their updates clash with some browsers.
I am currently using firefox without any issues.
I have heard that safari is having a host of eBay issues.

If you are not seeing the screen shot already posted, then your browser is not set to open PDF files in Adobe like is should be and is using its built in reader.
Chrome and Safari often revert back to their built in reader, you need to override this set back to Adobe.

Is that what is happening?
Awesome! Happy that you know the reason why this is happening to so many people.
...now go...there are many others still posting this same issue. You need to give them this solution!

How do i do this?
" you need to override this set back to Adobe."

When some browsers update, they often revert to their built in readers, so that would explain why so many have the problem at pretty much the same time.

Settings for your browser to Adobe, depends on the browser. However, you usually can just install/reinstall/update or just open Adobe and enable it as your Default and it will setup your browser automatically. Note that this doesn't always work with Chrome, so Google for the latest procedure.

i am having the same problem. i am using the same computer, same browser, same printer I have used since June. I did not make any changes to default settings, app, etc. This is something eBay has caused somehow. The fixes recommended about changing the browser to use Adobe on pdf's hasnt worked. I tried Chrome, Firefox and Edge. No luck 😞

Same here Frisco. Tried multiple browsers and the label always comes up vertical. This is definitely a problem ebay needs to fix internally whatever the reason or cause.

Post a screen shot of the label preview page.
