Send offers changes offer amount to zero

I'm having an issue with send offers.  After I put in the offer amount, the amount is changed to zero before I hit submit.  Anyone else having this issue?

It's on the website.  It's a seller initiated offer and it changes the dollar amount from 22.49 to 0.00.

Thanks for the added info - I wanted to test on my end to see if I could easily replicate the problem.

I checked on both Safari and Firefox on a Mac but couldn't duplicate the problem.

What browser are you using, and what happens when you use a different browser? Can you replicate the error @evening_sun_vintage ?

I'm sorry.  I should have said it's happening on my cell phone in Chrome.  I don't have the app installed.  I tried it again on my desktop computer and it worked fine in both a chrome and Edge.

OK so it appears to be a "mobile web" problem. My suggestion is to click the question mark icon on the bottom right of the page while using Chrome on your phone and report it to eBay. You can see the link in my signature below if you want screenshots of the process.

In the meantime you at least have a way to get offers sent through your desktop, and the app is always an option if you want to try it.

You might also scroll down in Chrome on your phone and see if there's an option to "switch to classic web."

One other thing: Make sure the Chrome browser on your phone is up to date, your phone's OS is up to date, and restart your phone. That frequently clears out all kinds of issues with things acting weird on a phone. 🙂

I am also having this issue. I always use eBay on the Web on my phone. This doesn't usually happen. I've tried signing out, tried using my laptop. Nothing is working at all. I'm in the UK and if I put an offer of say £20.00, it's showing at $0.00.

I'm having the same issue.  Using eBay web in Chrome on an Android phone.

I'm having my "you have 4 more offers" change to "0 offers left" after the 1st offer..I didn't know if this was an ebay alteration or seller alteration to cancel all future offers if 1st offer is declined.

This is a completely separate issue from the January bug with mobile web. Definitely better to start a new thread @packagingjanitorial .

You're the buyer in this situation, correct?

Where are you seeing your # of offers change from 4 left to 0 left - on the website, the mobile website, or the app?

Have you tried a different option - switch to website or switch to app - to see if it makes a difference?
