Last week I had emails from buyers asking for a slightly lower price on fixed price listed items. We replied with the Send an Offer to purchase at the offers made. Both buyers did not receive the email reply offers. We have sent many of these over the years so we believe this may be another glitch. I suggest that if you send an offer to purchase you follow it up with an email to make sure the potential buyer received the offer. In one case we had to revise the listing to the lower offer price to complete the purchase at the buyers offered price. If we did not follow up with the buyer we would have lost the sale.

While eBay is mostly made of glitches, this issue is most likely that those buyers have too many Non-Paying-Bidder cases and are being blocked by your account preferences. Every time I have had a potential buyer contact me about this, I point out that the only way they can’t make an offer is because of this fact. They then tell me how they just had one that was a misunderstanding. When I point out that my account is set to exclude anyone with two or more, they just go away. DONT SELL TO THESE PEOPLE!! It is literally the ONLY REPERCUSSION we, as sellers, have left, thanks to eBay.
