When using the search box from 'Search Active listings' within the seller hub, the results are frequently not complete. The exact search keyword one day will yield and different number of items the next day. This is a nightmare when trying to do inventory as a seller. One an item doesn't show up... we relist it. Then the next day it shows up as a duplicate!
Additionally.... if you filter by Title.... it includes everything from item specifics that has the same keyword even tho its NOT in the title!
This problem has had a serious effect on our seller rating in 2 major ways!!! 1. When we do inventory... We search for an item to take it down and it doesn't show up in the search... so the assumption is that it is not listed. Then days later it sells and we have already discarded the item!!! HIT TO OUR SELLER RATING! 2. When doing inventory we search and discover an item doesn't come up on the search. We relist it. It shows up in the search. Then the item sells, and unbeknownst to us.... the other one is still out there and sells but we only had one item! HIT TO OUR SELLER RATING!!!
We called customer service and gave them examples that they saw didn't show up.... they told us the only work around was to check in 3 different search boxes... the one in seller hub, the search by seller, and the search box in our store. We have THOUSANDS of items.... I shouldn't have to look in 3 different search boxes! When 3 different search boxes result in different results for identical search criteria.... YOU HAVE A PROBLEM!!! PLEASE FIX IT!!!

If we are doing inventory on a box of 100 pairs Nike Shorts.... how else would I check to see if they are all listed other than searching "Nike shorts" in my active listings search box from my seller hub???????

If we are doing inventory on a box of 100 pairs Nike Shorts.... how else would I check to see if they are all listed other than searching "Nike shorts" in my active listings search box from my seller hub??????? Please don't just say "that would be crazy..." unless you plan to tell us the better alternative!!! We are not new to eBay... over 20 years... but that doesn't mean we don't have things to learn! If you're going to comment... please educate us!!!
