Recently decided to try to hunt down a iMac 2021 and someone accepted my offer, little did I know that I was dealing with a scammer, they didn’t ship the item so I reached out to eBay and pressed the item did not arrive button after waiting a while, eBay opens up a case and the seller puts in a stolen tracking number in the case, eBay automatically believes it and closes the case! Meanwhile I still haven’t got my item, and I appealed it, I’ve tried to find a way to call eBay to speak with a rep for
help and that hasn’t gone anywhere… can’t anyone help? My case is under appeal for next 48 hours, I went to my local post office and they said the tracking number they provided for me was 14 ounces, a 2021 iMac is 28 lbs.. so it’s a full blown scammer.

Get a letter from your Post Office stating the weight and stating item was not delivered to your address. You need to get this to eBay before they decide the case. It would have been best to submit this with you appeal. Hopefully they will still acept it from you.
