Saved Search E-mails missing for weeks ... why?

The saved search daily e-mails are a sifnficant driver of site traffic.  The e-mails have been missing (with the exception of one day in late March) completely.  Very frustrating.

Would someone please share insight on the topic?

If your searches are new ones saved or edited within the last month? or so, maybe it's a result of the "saved search bug" where spaces in the search terms are replaced with + signs and cause fewer returned results. If "fewer" is "zero results", no emails would be generated I assume.
