So the past 2 days while doing searches on items of new stock listings I have constantly ran into issue with the all familiar "We Looked Everywhere Couldn't Find Page" Error Message. When searching, type in name of artist and album title, from the left hand side top nav there are always choices with music related item, one of those is "Vinyl Records".. on every single search I have done for titles, that search options provides me with the Error Page. IDK if this is happening just with music category searches or a lot of others, but it's pretty big deal when someone seaches for a band/title and wants only particular format to be seen on the search results.

Same here when searching for books today. Ebay seems to be an endless string of tech issues lately.

good to know it's not just music category then. I did hit the feedback link and gave short description of issue and rated "very poor" - anything come from that idk, but did what they tell you anyways.

I've experienced that today, too.

While I am not seeing that issue when I search for Lionel Christmas Box Car I get 1700+ plus returned but my listings don't start until 57th on the returned search list ... not good.

Did you toggle the sorting back and forth between best-match, and price-lot-to-high?
Searching the key words in my own listings, I get 12 total results out of 1,200 listings in price-low-to-high sorting, which every serious shopper uses. But if I click back to the Ebay default of best-match, all of a sudden, all 1,200 listings show up in the search results (mixed around in random order).
It's as if they want to punish anyone who wants to find something, by hiding the thing they are looking for from them.

@mr_lincoln like said, idk if happens with all categories or items, depends on what that category supplies for search options. In music categories there are several options, like "CD" or "Vinyl Records" or "Cassettes" idk what Trains have but the option for "Vinyl Records" gets you the Error Message Page. So when I search for band/title default comes up with everything ebay decides to show for that band/title, mixed bag, CD's, Vinyl's, Cassettes, Shirts, Stickers...anything with the keywords. Most people want it to be specific to the medium so toggle the search options to that.

I have been seeing the same error off and on for about a week. Using the left-hand filters seems to cause the error for me.
The big problem for me is when using the left-hand filters to select Color>Multicolor all of my variation listings lose the gallery collage photo and only show the photo of one random variation from within the listing. For the buyer, it looks like there is only one style available. I only have about 240 listings and 20 of those listings are variation listings that contain about 85% of the 1400+ items I have for sale. I have not sold anything from a variation listing since July 29th.
I reported the issue on Monday, the CSR was able to replicate the issue and get screenshots. She said she was sending a report to the "tech team" and would call me back in 24 hours. No call back and the issue persists. Guess I will need to request a call back again tomorrow.

ebay search has been issue for longtime, but this first I seen such a massive error in search options where they just don't return anything and give error message... point is, it's frustrating for sellers looking for items they may be listing can imagine it will have short fuse with buyers trying to search, just give up and leave.
I've said many times on these boards: Ebay's biggest issue for sellers and less sales is you can't sell things if people can't find them and instead of being on top of the search issues they just let them go and gets worse and worse when they should be working night and day to fix those issues.

@mcdougle4248 Yeah, you can see how these errors can create a horrid experience for buyers - not to mention sellers. As sellers we want to know items can be found on search, but we also want to know search works for all options being toggled. Especially if are investing in PLs - errors on search results are really unacceptable - search in this day age on website is the blood to the body - for massive site like ebay, everything should be working!
And lol, CSR are the worst, they tell you "someone will call you..." all the time, I've said to them myself few times Bull, ain't no one calling you, no one inboxing or emailing you, no one doing anything including fixing half the time.

I am very fortunate to have attended OPEN in Las Vegas in 2019. eBay gave all attendees Concierge CS and they have been awesome... until now.
I find myself caught between a rock and a hard place. Buyers are starting shop for Christmas and that is my niche. If the issue is not fixed soon, the only thing I can think to do is upgrade my store to have more free listings, pull all of my variations and make single item listings. What a nightmare!

The past couple days have been dismal, worst days I've had in months. Recently I sold a higher dollar item, which I usually don't. My items are usually under $100 by average. After I sold this high dollar item it pushed my sales numbers way up for the week. Right after that, sales slowed to a halt. It's all the proof I need that sales are throttled. Once you pass or get close to your "allowed" daily or weekly amount they shut you off like a switch. Once your 7 day figure drops again they'll turn you back on.
It's been obvious that no matter what you do you won't be able to "grow" your numbers on here. They keep you at a certain level for a very long time. I've added over a million dollars more worth of inventory on here this year and it didn't raise my threshold one bit.
Maybe they'll turn me back on soon. Ebay if you're reading this. I can handle more sales activity. Please allow me to grow my "invisible limit" I'm adding stuff on here constantly. I've been a loyal user for decades. Let me grow, please!

@mcdougle4248 yeah, what ever happened to option to have Concierge for anyone who wanted it? Anyways, that option was only available to anchor stores and I've always heard mixed bag when people talked about it. The one thing that I thought was always nice if those who had it were able to have lengthy discussions about issues with people who actually listen and try to do something. anyways...
Let's put it in clearer perspective: 50+ new items listed in past 2 weeks, low views and 2 sales in past week...PLs impressions were restored, right after that sales went to the sewer... that should alarm seller but finding things like search not working can be part of that. Point was, I spent 5 min, 10 min? got me quite frustrated, idk if buyers will even invest that much time before giving up.

@nuclearomen I don't use the filters, I sort of use a simple word search like perhaps a Buyer might do who is not familiar with the site.

I've had the kid in the jacket even when I click into a listing from my own seller hub.
