Safari crashes on eBay

This just started last week -- when I enter a new search on eBay my (up-to-date) Safari always crashes. I can look at previously viewed items, but a new search causes it to go down. So I guess I won't be searching on eBay.

Can you search using a non-Safari browser?

Exact same thing.  I'm using 3 different Macs all with different operating systems and all three will crash on ANY type of searh. This includes searching a store, saved searches or a random search. Page will open for one second, crash, open a second time then crash again and returns with a message " there seems to be a problem with e-bay search.  E-bay offered no help.  I do not have a smart phone so all these search issues are on regular Macs using Safari.  It is not a computer issue on this end.

It also makes me sign back in every time it crashes the search.

Safari crashes on eBay

Just to acknowledge the OP and others, I have had the same problem earlier this week. Sometimes, if I made several attempts, I was able to get results. Other times it would give that Safari message as reported and wouldn't get past it. If I was to hazard a guess (hopefully for all to benefit) it would be that maybe eBay recently made a slight coding change somewhere on the site and Safari doesn't like it. There have been no changes to my MacBook Pro running OS 10.11.3 which is used primarily for eBay. As of today, however, all searches seem to be OK. Maybe this might shed some light on it.

Apparently Ebay knows about the problem, since others are experiencing it, and is not addressing it.

Hi @losstep@planetsandboard @hummertime2 and @collectronix! After digging into this further, this appears to no longer be an issue members are experiencing, and has been resolved. However, definitely let us know if you're still running into problems.

Elizabeth,
