A few people have reported getting foreign-language sign-in pages, and the odd foreign-language "item condition" on their Watch list. Your situation might be related.
This seems to be an occasional glitch that crops up. The pages are not directed to foreign sites, just presenting different language options. Usually a page refresh or signing out and back in restores the correct language, I believe.
