Recognizing more than one device

Not sure this is the right forum for my question...

How do I get eBay to recognize both devices I use? If I use my laptop and later use my desktop I have re-authenticate my desktop with Captcha. When I do, the next time I use my laptop I have to re-authenticate it with Captcha. Am I only allowed one authenticated device? If not, how do I stop the authentication process when I alternate between the same two devices?

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Recognizing more than one device

It is typically signing out of your account or erasing your browser cookies that triggers re-authentication the next time you sign in, not simply using a different device.

I use multiple devices and only very rarely need to sign in or re-authenticate. I may need to enter a password again to change critical account settings from time to time.

If you do not sign out (or erase cookies or change your IP-address), there is generally no need to re-authenticate.

If you do not share your computer or have security concerns, check your account site preferences to see if "keep me signed in on this computer" is checked:
