Error when Sending Seller a Message

 

 

Are there moderators and/or administrators on this forum?

I keep getting errors like this one when I message a seller... Even when it's a seller I've bought from before and /or the item is obscure and has been for sale a long time.

I contacted a live chat agent on here (ebay.com) but the agents are very bottish and were not that helpful... They said that the user didn't block me and that I don't have restrictions on my account and they sent links but they were for identity validation etc and were not proper for sending the image of the error and asking a question

Or does someone know why this happens? What can I do about this? If this keeps happening, I won't be able to message anyone on ebay.

(and if this seems OT, I don't actually play all of those games in the notifications... I like them but am unable to progress so I don't play them very much (I am not that interesting))

Moderators do not work for eBay or respond here. This is primarily a user forum.

Try going to the seller's feedback or profile page and composing a new message there using the "contact" link. If prompted for an item number, choose "not about an item" rather than using an expired item number.

When I message from the contact link on their profile page, they don't usually respond (and the seller I was messaging and couldn't send a reply to (an error appeared) has not replied yet).

An error doesn't appear when I message them using the link on their profile page and seems my message was sent.
