I had this annoying issue today on 5/15/25 afternoon EST.
I contacted ebay customer service and informed them. Seems like IT department wants to avoid complaints and give to the poor oversees call center workers. All these fees and competing platforms , ebay should not have such glitches.
I don't know how to contact the IT department but I will state on here my formal complaint of wasting my time going to ship out items in a timely manner only for the trip to be wasted because of the website employees are not good at their job.

There was a brief USPS issue earlier today which was impacting QR codes; USPS has since fixed the problem.
Try to have the codes scanned again tomorrow. Should be working as USPS is back up and running.
If PO can't scan tomorrow then you can cancel that label and purchase a new one. Do the cancellation first to make sure it goes through without error.
---------------------
To void a shipping label purchased through eBay, go to this page, find the order and select Cancel from the Actions drop-down. The cancel option is available for 28 days.
It takes between 2-4 weeks to receive a refund on an unused, voided label as the carrier wants to make sure the label isn't used. You'll see the refund on your original source of payment (eBay funds, bank, credit card, etc) and the funds will appear in your account without an email notification.

I already voided them so and will have to wait weeks for a refund of those labels while I have to pay again for new ones.....

I would like to know if it was an issue for USPS or ebay. You imply it was USPS.
And you frame this as a brief issue that is likely fixed but then advise what to do if the PO still can't scan the codes, meaning it would be an on-going issue.

QR codes were not the only function impacted, and others posted more details and screenshots that confirmed it was a USPS issue.
Canceling the label is extra info I provided as a backup and also for future reference should someone encounter label issues, but it should not be needed in this situation unless the seller decided to purchase a label elsewhere to get their package out today and now has an extra unused label they paid for.
If the issue was ongoing there would be countless reports, not just a few scattered over the course of a very tinny window.
