Purchases not going through

I accepted a seller’s offer, checked out thru safari, paid with afterpay. Everything seemed smooth. Until I got an email from eBay asking me to checkout again. So I tried again despite already being charged by afterpay. This time I used PayPal. Transaction went thru as usual. Card was charged via PayPal. But the transaction on eBay still says payment pending after a few hours. No confirmation email from eBay either. This is very distressing for buyers. I’ve paid twice already not knowing if I’ll be refunded for the first transaction and still the system is not confirming the purchase. Seller’s end is not registering a sale either and nothing has gone through. What is wrong with eBay?

I've experienced the same thing. I put in an offer, it was accepted, but it didn't automatically process. I paid manually through ebay on a linked card, and a few hours later got an email saying that the payment didn't process.

I've tried to pay again through a different card, but it is still hanging on 'payment pending'

I have the same exact issue. Called eBay and was given **bleep** reasons. It is definitely a glitch from eBay end and now I can’t even communicate with a seller when both parties are trying to complete the transaction. My payment were returned twice and now an item shows as active from the sellers end with a pending offer.

Same problems, with two item from different sellers. Both bought by BestOffer price.
Support said that eBay site not have problem and need to check PayPal, Banks and Internet providers))

I have waste lot of time. It make me crazy
