The total price calculated incorrectly by eBay and I've been unable to find a way to contact eBay directly ... just get a constant loop of 'contact us' and redirecting to AI chat.

I always calculate my total purchase price offline to account for tax and shipping. On a purchase yesterday I noticed that the tax total seemed incorrect on the pay/checkout page. Noted the value ($3.02) and back calculated what I assumed was new increased sales tax rate (8.45%). The purchase price was $35.79 and the shipping was $8.35. That gave a total of $47.16. I paid it and then went to the order details page so I could verify my calculations. The sales tax amount had 'fixed' itself and was back at 8% for a charge of $2.86, yet the total was still showing $47.16 instead of the $47.00 it should have been.
